Raw Cake: After Eight

The base

  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 4 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 6 dates (soaked – blend 6 dates with a bit of water and blend into a paste)
  • pinch of Vanilla and salt

Blend everything together and mold into a cake tin.

The cream

  • 1,5 cup almond milk (or coconut)
  • 2 cups cashews (soaked)
  • agava (add as you like)
  • 1/2 cup of mint (fresh or dried)
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons of barley grass (makes the cake greenish)
  • pinch of vanilla and salt
  • 6 dates (soaked – blend 6 dates with a bit of water and blend into a paste)
  • 1 cup coconut oil

Blend everything together except the coconut oil! When blended into a smooth cream, add the coconut oil. Pour into the cake tin, but leave half of it for later!

  • 5 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
  • agava

Add the ingredients to the cream that you put aside and blend. Now pour the chocolaty cream on the mint cream, take a  small spoon and draw small lines, be creative. 😉 You will notice a beautiful mixture of green and brown.

Refrigerate over night.
