Packing… My worst nightmare! Especially when I’m going to USA. Every time we went I packed to much and all the things I bought didn’t fit in my suitcase. So we always bought an additional piece of luggage. Those were the days when two bags per person were allowed. Now for the economy class only one bag is allowed per person, are they kidding?! Don’t they know some serious shopping is always going on there?! We just had to adjust by packing almost nothing. We knew if we forgot something we can buy it here for a really good price. We packed just the essentials, no more than one sweater, leggings, clean t-shirts, pajamas and mini cosmetics. It worked! Our bags are so light that we will have no problem packing new »must have« items.
Aside from the packing fest and shopping we went to see the Navy Pier which is great to enjoy the beauty and the thrills of a day on Lake Michigan. We even went for a ride on the Ferris wheel.
Also we visited the beautiful Sky deck which is the premier corporate office building in Chicago, home to more than 100 companies. The iconic building is the tallest in the Western Hemisphere, encompassing more than 4.5 million square feet. We photographed the lovely view and we even caught a gorgeous sunset.
