Yes yes ha ha, I know it’s a funny title name, but I can’t name them any other way. 😉 By the way I am writing this from Chicago, it’s 7am here and I am fighting my enormous jet leg, hope this helps me sleep.
This is a really fun and easy recipe. You can choose your own toppings and add any ingredient you desire. I like adding raw proteins, so you have a dessert full of protein as well.
Raw Chocolate Balls
- 0,5 cup of Cacao butter
- 0,5 cup of Cashews (pre-soaked over night)
- 0,5 cup of hulled Hemp seeds
- 1 cup of Dates (pre-soaked for 1 hour)
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
- 1 tablespoon of 100% Vanilla powder
- 4 tablespoons of Raw Cacao powder
As I said you can add Raw Proteins, or Maca or any other nutritional SuperFoods that taste like crap. The Cacao will camouflage the taste.
Blend the Hemp seeds in to flour, add Cashews and melted Cacao butter, make a paste. Than add the Dates, blend thoroughly. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend very well. You can now form the balls and roll them in the shredded coconut or wheat grass (green ones) or coconut sugar (white ones). If you have problems forming the balls, try adding Cashews. Chill them in the fridge for about 2 hours.
